Herb Infused Wedding Ideas

Today’s wedding inspiration board is infused with wonderful herbs in everything from the bridal bouquet, decor, favors, drinks, and even the cake. As I do more and more cooking, including homemade sauces, dressings, main dishes and so on, I find myself using LOTS of different fresh herbs. With the colder weather coming, it’s obviously going to be more difficult to find fresh herbs, but I can’t wait to expand my garden and grow some of my own next year. Because of my love of fresh herbs (and all the cooking I’ve been doing), I am truly excited to bring you this herb explosion also known as this sweet sage and white wedding inspiration board. Now if only we could share with you the glorious aroma. :)

The bride’s bouquet looks fabulous with sage and mint and other gorgeous, earthy accents. Herb infused salt favors like these are so much fun and easy to make. They’re something your guests will enjoy long after to remember the special day. Stripy straws are always a great accessory for guests to use for drinks, especially when displayed in a rustic garden wire basket. Fragrant herbs mixed with olive branches are the perfect runner for the middle of the table, along with a refreshing mint infused bottle of water that serves double duty as a table number. (Having your wedding in a vineyard? Ask if they could create a custom blend just for you.) Lastly, lavender is the a wonderful option for a wedding cake, both as a flavor and a decoration.

Can you just imagine the heavenly aromas at this herb infused wedding? Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, basil, bay and lavender – it’s a recipe for lover for sure! :)
